The 2006 IEEE SOA Industry Summit (http://www.soaindustry.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=6&Itemid=23) encourages industry people to submit presentations and one-page abstract instead of 8-page research papers. The accepted papers will be published in the SCC 2006 Proceedings. This unique event will be co-located with ICWS/SCC 2006.

The theme of IEEE SOA Industry Summit is Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). It is sponsored by IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Services Computing.

The 2006 IEEE International Services Computing Contest (SCContest 2006, http://iscc.servicescomputing.org/2006/) will focus on using the SOA methodologies and tools to better solve business issues facing today and bringing worldwide talented students together for the industrial wave. Top six winners of the contest will be announced in the 2006 IEEE International Conference on Services Computing (SCC 2006) and the 2006 IEEE International Conference on Web Services (ICWS 2006) in September, 2006. In addition, the technical papers of the winners will be published in the proceedings of IEEE SCC 2006. The theme of SCContest 2006 is Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
